‎What Does "In House" Mean?

It means we make everything ourselves! Like, literally everything. Nothing is outsourced for manufacturing or printing. Each and every item available at trashgirl is designed by us and made by hand, always. Which is just how we like it.

The blanks we use are made in Los Angeles, California, USA, and printed right here in Minneapolis, by us. Our blanks are Fair Labor Accredited. We only use blank manufacturers who are WRAP certified, WRAP certification ensures ethical and responsible manufacturing practices, including labor conditions, health and safety, and environmental standards.

‎How Long Will My Item Take?

Orders typically take 1-2 weeks from the date of the order to complete and ship. Made to order wait times often fluctuate and vary depending on how many orders we receive. Sometimes, orders can take 4-6 weeks to complete, especially if there is an influx of orders. Please allow a grace period of 4 weeks for your item to ship; most of the time, it's much sooner than that.

Once your order has been shipped, for US and CA orders, you can expect delivery within 5-7 business days. For international orders, you can expect delivery within 18-21 business days. ‎Why Made To Order? What Does That Mean?

Why made to order? With being such a small brand, made to order has always made sense to us! Ever since trashgirl's inception, we've been made to order. This helps us manage inventory and keep everything organized. Bulk orders are expensive and take up a lot of space, plus items aren't always guaranteed to sell! We would never want excess textile waste, we're not about that.

What is made to order? Made to order means items aren't made until after an order is placed! Once your purchase an item, we order all the supplies to create your item(s) and make them just for you!

‎Returns/Exchanges:

Due to the unique and limited nature of our items, we only offer exchanges or store credit. Please contact us within 7 days upon delivery if the items you received are faulty, damaged or the incorrect size.

Washing:

How To Wash:

For all of our garments, especially because they are handmade, we recommend hand washing, but this doesn't mean you can't put them in the washing machine!

Handwashing Instructions:

Hand wash inside out in cool to lukewarm water with your detergent.
Do not bleach.

Machine Washing Instructions:

Flip the garment inside out and wash on regular. Do not wash on high heat.
Do not bleach.

Drying Instructions:

We always recommend hanging your garments inside out to dry. This prevents any shrinkage and longevity of the print. All garments can go in the dryer as well.
